​The University of Jordan (UJ) has maintained its position in the Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU 2024) for the third consecutive year, reinforcing its status as one of the leading universities in the Arab world and the only university in the Kingdom to be included in this global ranking.

The Shanghai Global Ranking is one of the most respected academic rankings worldwide, relying on a set of indicators that evaluate research output, the global impact of researchers and graduates, and the academic excellence of faculty members, including global awards and significant research achievements.

The Shanghai Ranking serves as an important reference for universities globally, reflecting their ability to compete on the international academic arena.

UJ's achievement reaffirms its standing both locally and internationally, as it ranked first in the Kingdom, ninth among Arab universities, and within the top 400 universities globally in the QS 2024 ranking (368th globally). It also holds the top position locally in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings.
