​His Majesty King Abdullah II, on Thursday, bestowed upon Professor of musical composition at the School of Art and Design, Haitham Sukkarieh, the King Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein Order for Distinction of the First Degree, on the occasion of the seventy-seventh Independence Day.

Prof. Sukkarieh received the order in recognition of his significant role in music and his diverse performances in various local, regional, and international cultural and artistic forums.

His Majesty King Abdullah II has also bestowed royal medals on national institutions and individuals, acknowledging their contributions to achieving accomplishments and their roles in various sectors, as well as their dedication in serving the country.
