A student from the University of Jordan (UJ), Rahma Al-Hroub of the School of Educational Sciences, earned third place in the Humanities Research category at the 26th Arab Students’ Innovation and Creativity Forum, hosted by the University of Nizwa in the Sultanate of Oman under the theme “Opportunities and Challenges Facing Educational Institutions amid Technological Developments.”
Her research, titled “The Predictive Power of Students’ Reliance on an Intelligent Psychological Robot in Assessing Self-Esteem and Digital Identity among Jordanian University Students,” supervised by Ghada Qaqish, was recognized for its pioneering use of artificial intelligence in psychological and educational research.
Dean of the School of Educational Sciences Prof. Mohammad AlZyoud commended Al-Hroub’s achievement, emphasizing that it embodies UJ’s steadfast commitment to creativity and research excellence. Qaqish described the award as a testament to persistence, passion, and scientific curiosity.
The forum concluded with an award ceremony honoring distinguished students and jury members, highlighting the growing impact of technology in advancing education and research across the Arab world.
