The University of Jordan (UJ) hosted a delegation from the Canadian company Applied Bio Research Inc. to explore opportunities for collaboration in scientific research, its practical applications, and the commercialization of research outputs into economically viable investment projects.
The delegation was led by Director of Research and Development at CamOleum Inc. and Chief Executive Officer of Applied Bio Research Inc., Dr. Sabah A. A. Jassim, and Chief Financial Officer, Dr. Issa El-Cheikh. Also accompanying the delegation were President of the Agricultural Materials Traders Syndicate in Jordan, Dr. Saleh Yaseen; Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture at Al-Balqa Applied University, Prof.Mohammad S. Al-Mazra'awi; and Founder and Chief Executive Officer of the Academia Industry Platform Company Limited, Dr. Khaled Khraisat.
The visiting delegation met with UJ Vice President for Global Rankings and International Accreditation, Prof.Faleh Sawair, in the presence of Director of the Hamdi Mango Center for Scientific Research, Prof. Reda Al-Khawaldeh. Discussions focused on enhancing cooperation in research commercialization, developing practical and technology-based solutions, and establishing frameworks to transform research ideas and patents into marketable products and services.
The Canadian guests praised UJ’s advanced infrastructure and the capabilities of the Hamdi Mango Center. They expressed keen interest in building a broader partnership with UJ, particularly in the fields of innovation,
