A spirit of warmth and fellowship marked the University of Jordan's (UJ) annual Eid al-Fitr gathering this morning, as academic and administrative staff joined university leadership to exchange greetings.
Held at the lobby of the administration building, UJ President Prof. Nathir Obeidat, alongside his leadership team, exchanged well-wishes with the university community.
Obeidat expressed his pleasure at the gathering, stressing its importance for building unity and reinforcing social connections. Adding to the festive mood, students from the School of Arts performed musical pieces for the first time.
Obeidat formally extended his congratulations and well-wishes to the university staff and offered prayers for the prosperity and aspirations of the Arab and Islamic world. The UJ community also took the opportunity to extend greetings to His Majesty King Abdullah II, HRH Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II, and the esteemed Hashemite family.
This annual event stems from UJ's commitment to strengthening social ties among its staff, maintaining a tradition of organizing gatherings for the university community on religious and national occasions.
