As part of his ongoing supervisory visits to ensure the efficient operation of university facilities, the University of Jordan (UJ) President, Prof. Nathir Obeidat, accompanied by his deputies, visited the Food and Nutrition Services Department (university restaurants).
Obeidat shared the Iftar meal with a gathering of university students, staff members, and female residents of the university dormitories, as well as other attendees of the restaurants.
During the visit, Obeidat toured the restaurant facilities, engaging in discussions with students and gathering their feedback. He reaffirmed UJ's unwavering commitment to supporting students, emphasizing that the primary purpose of the university restaurants is to serve them.
Obeidat directed restaurant staff to prioritize the provision of healthy, balanced, and diverse meals, ensuring they contain all essential nutrients. He also emphasized the importance of collaborative efforts to advance the university and cultivate a competitive academic environment.
In a meeting with university staff members over Iftar, Obeidat expressed his appreciation for their significant contributions to the university's growth and progress.
