PMIJO Delegation Visits UJ to Explore Joint Collaboration

The University of Jordan (UJ) President, Prof. Nathir Obeidat, received a delegation from the Project Management Institute Jordan Chapter (PMIJO), led by its President, Diala Al-Alami, alongside Vice President Nadia Borshik and other members. The meeting, attended by university officials, aimed to discuss future cooperation and formalize mutual partnership for the benefit of students and the university.

Obeidat expressed his appreciation for PMIJO's initiative and emphasized UJ's commitment to enhancing students' digital, soft, and employability skills. Al-Alami introduced PMIJO as a registered Jordanian association affiliated with the international Project Management Institute (PMI), working to raise awareness of project management and develop the sector. Borshik, in turn, highlighted the importance of project management across all academic disciplines and the association's ongoing collaboration with the King Abdullah II School of Information Technology.

The delegation expressed their keenness to sign a joint Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to develop cooperation, and the meeting concluded with both parties agreeing to formalize their collaboration and expand activities towards academic and practical development of students.
