The University of Jordan (UJ) President Prof. Nathir Obeidat, welcomed an academic delegation from Al-Quds University, comprising a group of distinguished students from its School of Law, totaling 30 students.
During the meeting, Obeidat warmly welcomed the delegation emphasizing the importance of strengthening collaboration between the two universities and other Palestinian universities, offering support across various areas.
The delegation, led by the Dean of the Faculty of Law at Al-Quds University Prof. Issa Manasrah, discussed possibilities for academic and research collaboration, student exchange between the two universities, particularly within the Faculty of Law.
This collaboration aims to enhance the academic and practical skills of students while providing insights into the University of Jordan’s educational, political, social, cultural, and legal experiences.
Manasrah remarked that the visit is an extension of ongoing cooperation between the two universities, commending the University of Jordan's respected reputation and its prestigious global standing.
The meeting was attended by the Vice President for Humanities Schools Prof. Nahed Emaish, Dean of the School of Law Prof. Bassem Melhem, and General Manager of the Pioneers Center for Studies and Human Rights Training, Rania Haddadin.
Following the meeting, the delegation visited the School of Law, accompanied by its Dean, Prof. Bassem Melhem, where they toured the School's facilities and reviewed the offered programs.
