The University of Jordan’s (UJ) School of Sports Sciences, in cooperation with the Jordan Swimming Federation, hosted a specialised training workshop titled “Development and Awareness for High-Performance Swimmers in Jordanian Clubs.”
Delivered by Italian coach and expert Caio Andreolo, the workshop introduced advanced training concepts grounded in contemporary sports science, with practical methods to enhance elite swimmers’ technical execution and physical readiness.
The sessions were attended by the School’s Assistant Deans, Dr. Loay Al Shawabka and Prof. Jihad Subh, who underlined the importance of linking academic knowledge with hands-on coaching practice to refine students’ skills and strengthen Jordan’s coaching capacity.
Sports Sciences students, national team swimmers, and coaches from Jordanian clubs also participated, reflecting UJ’s commitment to supporting competitive sport in Jordan and raising performance standards.
